Approximately 3000 attendees, together with millions of cryptocurrency users in the world, are in anticipation of the biggest event for blockchain businesses in 2018—the BlockShow Europe. The event is powered by cryptocurrency publication Cointelegraph and will culminate on May 28-29 in Berlin’s Estrel Hotel and Convention Center.
SPEAKERS AND SPONSORS
With contributions from public blockchain platforms and crowdfunding websites, Blockshow Europe was born. Achain, Chronobank.io, Atayen, Selfsell, Utrust, Weeve, and Dakuce are just some of the sponsors who worked together this year to make the event as big as possible. Together with Cointelegraph, the firms were able to gather 3,000 attendees, 150 exhibitors, 50000 Blockshow Oscar Awards, and 200 journalists. This will definitely be the event of a lifetime for cryptocurrency owners, investors, and businesses.
On top of that, a line-up consisting of the most popular and influential people in the world will deliver the entire event, including:
Jimmy Wales – Internet entrepreneur, co-founder of Wikipedia, one of Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People”
Sarah Austin – VP of Product Marketing for APEX Smart Contracts, One of Forbes 30 under 30
Bobby Lee – Co-founder of BTCC, Board Member at Bitcoin Foundation
Johanna Maska – CEO Global Situation Room, Ex-Head of White House Press Department for Former President Barack Obama
Mark Mueller-Eberstein – Best-selling author in 12 languages, APEC representative
Benny Giang – Co-founder of CryptoKitties, Product Manager at Axiom Zen
Olga Feldmeier – CEO at SMART VALOR, One of the 100 Women in Fintech Powerlist 2017

CONTENT AND AGENDA
The event will showcase the best innovative solutions and applications for cryptocurrencies but will have a central focus on blockchain platforms and projects many online businesses come up with. The conferences held by each speaker or company are dedicated to discussions tackling the new trends, practices, issues, and developments in the ecosystem. According to Cointelegraph, the Blockshow agenda will have panel discussions aim at Governmental Blockchain Initiatives within Europe and other countries, Blockchain in Enterprise Environment: Corporate Giants are Stepping In, Next-Gen Blockchain: How Innovators Discover New Dimension of Decentralized Solutions, and The Rise of Humanitarian Use Causes.
Last year’s Blockshow in Munich provided an exclusive sneak peek into the new projects and platforms dedicated to introduce the blockchain to the world, but this year’s event will also launch an innovative product that no one has ever done before: the first blockchain polling application. All the attendees will be given access to the networking poll app to vote for and identify the most distinguished women leaders and blockchain companies nominated. The polls will be powered by Polys, a secure and transparent system used to create blockchain-based polls and surveys.
