Fresh from a successful collaboration with Switch Studios, Microgaming takes no breaks from expanding its gaming territories. This week, the developer partners and inks a content distribution deal with Red Rake Gaming, the new independent gaming studio on Microgaming’s portfolio of strategic partners.
Microgaming’s Director of Global Operations, James Buchanan, spearheaded the collaboration. In a press release, Buchanan commented that Microgaming offers Red Rake an opportunity to access their content and territories: “Microgaming boasts an ever-expanding portfolio of exclusive games, along with popular third-party content, supplied in more than 20 regulated markets worldwide, providing Red Rake Gaming with access to new territories and casino brands. We are delighted to enhance our library of diverse and innovative content with Red Rake’s varied and popular slot offering.”
Buchanan will work together with Nick Barr, the Managing Director of Red Rake’s Malta operation. Red Rake has been in the industry for almost 7 years now, and they are known for providing high-quality slots, bingo, poker, blackjack, and roulette games. However, the company has yet to reach other territories. With that, Barr is responsible for monitoring Red Rake’s entry to new regulated markets under Microgaming.
Partnership Terms
For now, Microgaming and Red Rake Gaming aims to dominate the gaming territories of Sweden, Italy, Romania, Portugal, Malta, the United Kingdom, Greece, Spain, and Ukraine. The two will secure further growth and expansion in the future to become one of the market leaders in the online gambling industry by 2020. Nick Barr confirmed that other countries and regions are still under review.
Aside from the expansion, the first order of business is to feature Red Rake’s online slot and video bingo catalog on Microgaming’s platform and partner fiat and Bitcoin casinos.
