Once again, award-winning game developer Microgaming teamed up with Switch Studios to expand its portfolio of table games. Both suppliers recently launched five new blackjack and baccarat titles for the month of December. All new games would be part of Microgaming’s collaborative suite with independent gaming studios.
James Buchanan, Microgaming Director of Global Operations, led the release of the new table games. In a press release, Buchanan commented: “We have further expanded our table games offering with the launch of six exciting new titles from Switch Studios, developed exclusively for Microgaming. Each of the six creations realizes Switch Studios’ ambition to refresh the table games market with exciting casino experiences. The suite of blackjack games, along with the new baccarat title, are sure to set the standard for a new breed of table gaming.”
Following the successful release of their European Blackjack earlier this year, Microgaming hopes to bring more fresh games perfect for mobile and desktop devices. Joining Buchanan in this endeavor is Tom David, the Head of Studio at Switch Studios. Aside from the new table games, Buchanan and David confirm more exclusive titles for Microgaming next year.
Blackjack Suite
The suite of blackjack games includes Atlantic City Blackjack, Vegas Strip Blackjack, Vegas Downtown Blackjack, and Classic Blackjack. All four are already available for play at Microgaming’s platform and partner casinos. The new releases all have crips graphics, mobile-friendly interface, and clear audio. For the in-game features, they offer Standard Side Bets: Double Down, Insurance, and Split Hand commands to players seeking for a customizable gambling experience.
A fifth blackjack title is also in the works. Vegas Single Deck Blackjack and its fast game speed, high-quality graphics, and flexible features is set to go live on December 11. Switch Studios and Microgaming have yet to release a teaser for the game, but it will roll out on Wednesday.
Baccarat Titles
A multi-platform Baccarat title also went live this week. Based on its design and bonus features, the game has an Eastern gambling atmosphere to it. Some of its notable features include player-controlled card squeeze command, customizable scorecard, advanced road statistics, and turbo mode.
