NetEnt is yet to finalize its merger and acquisition deal with Evolution Gaming yet. The partnership is one of the biggest and most groundbreaking deals in the online gaming industry. While waiting for what the future has in store for them, NetEnt is already on the move to further expand its network of territories.
NetEnt recently entered an agreement with Scientific Games–a brand that also acquired NYX Gaming–which is one of the biggest American companies that provide lottery games and wagering systems globally, to extend their presence across the United States. NetEnt is one of the pioneers of online gambling, but all of their products and services cater to the UK and European markets.
Through the partnership, a wide range of NetEnt popular releases have now been integrated into Scientific Games’ OpenGaming™ aggregation platform. This means that NetEnt’s content, including its portfolio of slot and table games, is now available to OpenGaming™ partners in the regulated market of New Jersey. Further launches and releases will reach Michigan and Pennsylvania soon. Both companies are still exploring more opportunities to collaborate across other regulated markets.
The addition of NetEnt’s portfolio to Scientific Games’ own systems marks a huge milestone in the company’s mission to build one of the biggest iGaming aggregation platforms in the world. NetEnt’s hit titles like Divine Fortune, Starburst, and Gonzo’s Quest will further retain and acquire new customers alongside Scientific Games’ existing lineup of games.
Scientific Games currently offers 2,500 games made in-house and from third-party studios. Aside from games, the OpenGaming™ aggregation platform also carries online casino features such as jackpots, free-rounds, missions. and tournaments. All features are equipped with responsible gambling tools accessible during gameplay.
Brian Kraft, VP Commercial at NetEnt Americas LLC, will lead the progress and success of the agreement. Kraft works alongside Dylan Slaney, the SVP Casino for Scientific Games Digital.
In a press release, Kraft emphasized the importance of expanding NetEnt’s territories in the US:
“Expanding our presence in the US market is of high importance to NetEnt. Collaborating with Scientific Games leveraging the power of their OpenGaming platform made strategic sense for us, given the company’s strong reputation and partnerships with multiple US operators. We’re excited about working with Scientific Games in the US and look forward to launching our popular slots with more operators in the coming months.”
