Playtech Reaches Out To Italian Bingo Market With New Developments

Playtech Reaches Out To Italian Bingo MarketLeading global gaming entrepreneur Playtech once again takes the spotlight this year. The game developer has expanded its Playtech Bingo platform in Italy, and it will be made available to the public through William Hill, Sisal, and Snai bookmakers.

New Platforms and Protocol

Playtech is backed with solid history when it comes to supplying Bingo games. They have more than 40% market share in the UK, making them the largest supplier in the country. Before offering the extended platforms and their updated protocols to Italy, the company also offered eight new bingo games to the Spanish market. These expansions are enough to say that Playtech is the reigning chief of the Bingo business.

The three bookmakers and regulators in Italy will utilize Playtech’s PBAD3 protocol and Omni-channel bingo portfolio. It allows them to open new online Bingo variants to the public, while simultaneously offering a tailored set of services for Italian players. Specifically, it  includes a two-line prize and a 75-ball UK Bingo. The UK bingo network is the largest of its variation as it has more than 100 different brands or ‘skins’, and can cater to more than 100,000 daily players and 20,000 daily concurrent players.

All of the existing and updated titles from the portfolio can be launched in a variety of platforms, including Android and iOS devices, mobile phones, tablets, and HTML5 desktop clients. Any device will allow the player to experience seamless bingo gaming experiences—all in real-time.

Dominating the Market

Following the announcement, Playtech Managing Director of Digital Bingo, Angus Nisbet, shared his enthusiasm in a press release: “Becoming the first platform in Italy to make the most of the updated protocol is a significant moment in developing our offering in one of our key markets. The speed with which we have been able to expand our platform and products in Italy reflects our commitment to growing and building our offering in new and existing regulated markets.”

With new products and services offered to Italy and Spain, Playtech surely has more plans in the future to expand their name and attract more customers. More than this, they currently hold a strong presence in Panama, Colombia, and Mexico, and offer 9,000 retail tills and betting terminals offline.
